Day 1 Arrive to Guatemala – Antigua Guatemala

Meeting upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala. (1hr) the country’s original capital, declared a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979.

Day 2 Antigua Guatemala B

Today you will take a half day walking tour of Antigua. (3-4hr). the tour takes in the main square, Palace, Cathedral, La Merced Church & San Francisco Church. Free time afternoon.

Day 3 Sunrise & Sea Turtles B

Guatemala´s black sand beaches can be places of deep chill, with hammocks and books and icy beverages, or they can be a plunging-into-waves, the power of the ocean roaring over your body. Every morning at 5:45 AM, juvenile sea turtles are released into the wild from the beach by the conservatory, an event not to be missed by travelers.

Day 4 Mangroves Paddle Boarding B

Enjoy the beautiful mangroves of the Natural Reservoir Playa El Paredon. Paddle up and down the river and discover the unique colors and sounds of this ecosystem. This mangrove forest is part of the bird migration route and is well known for its birdwatching so open your eyes! At the end of the adventure, you will have the opportunity to do some mangrove river jumping… if you dare.

Day 5 Bike Tour to Uaxactún B L

Today we enjoy a biking adventure through the jungle as we make our way from Tikal to Uaxactun, another impressive site with ruins of an ancient Mayan city. Hidden within the rainforest, Uaxactún contains astronomical complexes used by the Mayans to observe astronomical events. Departure from Tikal, we will make our way through the scenic of the jungle about 24 km (15.5mi). Upon arriving in Uaxactun, we will enjoy a local lunch before taking a guided tour of the archaeological site. Afternoon returns to Tikal.

Day 6 Tikal Sunrise B

The sunrise tour of Tikal is exactly that. You enter the park super early, walk through the jungle in the darkness to make it to Temple IV to climb to the top and watch the sunrise over the jungle. It really is magical, to watch the first rays of light hit the tree canopy, hearing the jungle life come alive and 100% worth the insanely and inhumanely early start time.

Day 7 Relax at Lake Petén Itzá B L

Enjoy the lake and relax in this Petenero paradise. Day leisure.

This morning our driver will transfer guests to the airport in plenty of time to catch your international flight onwards.
