The Pacific
beaches are comprised in the departments: Escuintla, Suchitepequez
and Retalhuleu. Places that have exit to the Pacific Ocean.
Escuintla:
located to 58 kilometers of the capital city, in an itinerary
of 45 minutes. The place and surroundings possess a great
number of tourist places, like their black sand beaches
, sugar country properties like El Salto, and recess areas,
like rivers, puddles, forests and services that facilitate
your stay.

Suchitepéquez:
It is also known as the city of the deer, it is generally quite
humid. Among the tourist attractions is the departmental head,
Mazatenango City, especially during the month of February when
the cheerful Carnival Feast takes place. In Suchitepéquez
there are also natural atractions like, rivers and beaches, especially
in the municipalities of Patulul, Santa Bárbara and San
Juan Bautista, where one can also enjoy the puddles that are formed
along the bed of the Madre Vieja River.
Retalhuleu:
Denominated the capital of the world, offers great tourist
atractions such as the beaches of Champerico and Tulate, the Cave
of the Charm (Las Cuevas del Encanto), Abaj Takalik's archaeological
site, excellent spas with pools and hotels, as well as one of
the most important and complete amusement parks of Central America,
Xetulul and Xocomil del IRTRA.
