This is a new
adventure to experience in your trip to Petén that
consists on rushing through some strings, leaving from
some platforms among the 4 - 7 meters high superimposed
in the trees. The appropriate gear is provided and two
guides accompany the journeys. In Petén, Guatemala,
three options exists:
Canopy
Ruta del Mono: located to 45 kilometers of Floress,
in an itinerary of 40 minutes toward the highway of Melchor
de Mencos. The place is a private reserve, with a primary
forest vegetation, where birds can be observed and in
occasions howler or spider monkeys. The Canopy has 13
platforms for the launchings and is the biggest canopy
in the area.
Tarzan
Tour: This canopy immersed in the private park
Ixpanpajul, where you can experience the intense adrenaline
by rushing through seven metallic platforms distributed
on the high forest of the areas. On Ixpanpajul, you can
make other activities like Sky Way, horseback riding, four-wheel
motorcycle riding or biking in an extensive area of private
natural reserve. This marvellous place is at only 18 minutes
from Flores.
Canopy
Tour Tikal: If your trip is quick and your visiting
Tikal, Another adventure alternative is the Tikal canopy
tour, since it is situated at the park entrance. This canopy
just as the other s, possess platforms structured over the
